Tuesday, June 23, 30 & July 7 • 11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. • Meeting Room • Adults Hear fascinating tales of authors who made terrible blunders at literary cocktail parties and testimonial dinners or who were dropouts before they became great writers. Many writers had strange rituals performed before beginning to write while others had their books banned or burned. Who were the great literary lovers and who wrote memorable letters to other writers? Which poets became mad? Which authors became alcoholics? What fiction became reality? Join Dr. Bill Fry for amazing stories he has collected over forty-five years of teaching literature.
